We believe in one God — Father, Son — and that Jesus Christ, fully human and fully divine, shows us who God is. We believe salvation is God’s open gift, received freely. And we believe faith is meant to transform not just us, but the world.

Methodists have a 300-year-old habit of thinking about faith with four tools working together — Scripture first, informed by the church’s tradition, our lived experience, and God-given reason. It means your questions are welcome here. Faith at Skyline is a conversation, not a test.
Skyline is an Open and Affirming congregation of the Reconciling Ministries Network, with over a decade of fully welcoming LGBTQ+ persons in every area of church life. We affirm that being LGBTQ+ is not a sin. In 2024, the United Methodist Church removed its bans and affirmed that LGBTQ+ people are fully compatible with Christian teaching. Here, that’s not a policy — it’s family.
